UK Reports Sharp Drop in Disposable Vape Use After Ban

(MENAFN) Disposable vape use in the United Kingdom has fallen significantly following the introduction of a government ban on single-use vaping products, according to a survey cited on Monday.

Data from a YouGov poll showed that only 13% of vapers aged 11–17 now primarily use disposable devices, down from 42% before the restrictions were implemented in 2025. This figure is also well below the peak level of 69% recorded in 2023.

Among adults, disposable vape usage has also declined notably. Just 8% of adult vapers reported mainly using single-use products, compared with 24% in 2025 and 31% in 2023.

As stated by reports citing the survey findings, the trend suggests the ban has contributed to reducing both the popularity and availability of disposable vapes. However, millions of these products are still reportedly being discarded despite the restrictions, according to media outlet.
